Credential Dumping
Authority claims without proof.
Your ad listed credentials like a resume. Years of experience. Awards. Certifications. The viewer doesn't care about your qualifications — they care about their problem. Credentials without context are just noise.
Why This Works
Authority works when it's demonstrated, not declared. Saying "we're the experts" triggers skepticism. Showing a result that only an expert could produce triggers trust. The brain believes what it can verify through evidence, not what it's told to believe through titles.
In Your Ads
Find every credential claim: "award-winning," "industry-leading," "trusted by thousands," "10 years of experience." For each one, ask: can I replace this with a specific result? The result IS the credential. Show the work, not the certificate.
When This Breaks
Your ad opens with "From the award-winning team with 15 years of experience." The viewer thinks: "Everyone says that." The credentials create no differentiation because every competitor makes the same claims.
Example
"From the industry-leading team trusted by thousands of brands." → "Built by the team behind the Glossier launch campaign that generated 14M organic impressions in 72 hours."
