- Is Heista a replacement for Figma Weave?
- For agency work, yes, and it takes a different route to it. Heista generates imagery and film without asking you to build a workflow first, and carries the brief, the territories, the art direction, every client brand and the boards you present from. Weave is a pipeline builder for generation. The question is whether you want to construct the machine or get the work out.
- Do I need to learn a node editor to use Heista?
- No, and removing it is deliberate. You start from a brief, a pitch or an ad that is already working, and the workspace takes it from there into territories, art direction, imagery and film. Somebody new to the team is useful on their first day rather than after they have learned to wire a graph.
- Is Figma Weave included with my Figma subscription?
- No. They are separate products with separate subscriptions and separate credits, and they are not connected yet, so a paid Figma seat does not cover it. Worth knowing before you assume the name means it comes bundled. Heista is one workspace and one bill.
- How does the pricing compare?
- Heista is $59 per seat a month, with a free tier on one brand, and generation billed at the provider’s list price: a dollar buys a dollar, itemised by tool, by person and by brand. Weave sells credits, from a free 150 a month up to 4,500 per user on Team at $48, with a published credit cost per model that you convert back into money yourself when you bill.
- Does Heista work across several client brands?
- That is what it is built around. Each client carries its own brand brain holding voice, palette, logos, values and documents, so the work stays on strategy and never bleeds between accounts. Everything the team makes is searchable by brand, by person and by date rather than filed under the workflow that produced it.
- Can I use both?
- Some teams will. Heista runs the process and makes the work; Weave is where you would build a repeatable pipeline for something you produce the same way every time. Once the thinking, the brands and the boards live in one place, the overlap is mostly at the volume end.
