1. Becoming a Creative Partner
The Heista Creative Partners Programme is open to individuals and businesses with relevant creative experience, educational programmes, content or audiences.
Applications are reviewed and approved at Heista’s discretion. Applying does not guarantee acceptance.
Approved partners receive access to programme benefits, referral tracking and commission opportunities.
Partners must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement.
Participation is non-exclusive. You may continue using, teaching and promoting other creative platforms.
2. Partner Benefits
Approved Creative Partners may receive:
- Complimentary Heista platform access, including Agency features.
- $50 in one-time introductory AI generation credits.
- Access to personal onboarding and platform support.
- Early access to selected features and releases.
- The ability to share selected creative library resources with referred users.
- Eligibility to earn commissions on qualifying referrals.
Complimentary access and programme benefits remain subject to ongoing partner eligibility and any applicable usage policies.
AI generation beyond complimentary credits is charged separately at the applicable provider rates.
3. Referral Commissions
Creative Partners earn commissions on qualifying revenue generated by customers they refer to Heista.
Paid subscriptions — 50% for 12 months
Partners receive 50% of eligible paid creative-seat subscription revenue for the first 12 months following a referred customer’s first successful paid subscription.
This includes additional paid creative seats purchased within the referred workspace during the eligible commission period.
Studio usage and upgrades — 20% for 6 months
Partners also receive 20% of qualifying studio usage and upgrade revenue for the first six months following the referred customer’s first successful paid subscription.
Qualifying revenue includes:
- Additional brand slots
- Additional custom library items
- Metered storage usage
- Published Pitch Decks and Proposals
- Agency Add-on subscription fees
AI generation is excluded
No commissions are paid on AI generation credit purchases, complimentary AI credits or pass-through AI generation charges.
Commission periods are calculated independently for each referred customer.
4. Qualifying Referrals
Each Creative Partner receives a unique referral link or code.
When a new customer registers through that link or code, their originating workspace is attributed to the referring partner.
Referral attribution begins at registration, including when the customer initially joins on the Free plan.
Commission eligibility begins when the referred customer makes their first successful paid subscription payment.
Customers who subsequently upgrade their workspace, purchase additional seats or incur qualifying usage charges remain attributed to the original partner during the applicable commission periods.
Referrals must represent genuine new customers. Self-referrals, duplicate accounts, fraudulent activity and attempts to manipulate attribution are not eligible.
Heista’s referral tracking records determine attribution, subject to correction of verified errors.
5. How Commissions Are Calculated
Commissions are calculated on eligible revenue actually received by Heista.
Amounts excluded from commission calculations include:
- Taxes, including GST where applicable
- Refunds, reversals and chargebacks
- Promotional discounts
- Complimentary subscriptions and credits
- AI generation purchases and provider charges
- Fraudulent or invalid transactions
Commissions are calculated after applicable customer discounts.
Subscription commissions and studio usage commissions are calculated separately at their respective rates.
Commission rates apply only during the relevant eligibility periods.
6. Commission Payments
Commissions are calculated monthly.
Eligible commissions become payable after a 30-day clearance period following the relevant customer payment, allowing time for refunds, reversals and payment disputes.
Payments are made monthly to the partner’s verified nominated payment account or through Heista’s designated affiliate payment provider.
Partners are responsible for providing accurate payment details and any information reasonably required to process payments.
Where a payment cannot be completed, eligible commissions remain pending until valid payment information is provided, subject to applicable law.
Payment processing times may vary depending on the partner’s country and payment provider.
7. Refunds and Chargebacks
Commissions are not payable on transactions that are refunded, reversed, disputed successfully or determined to be fraudulent.
If a commission has already been paid on a transaction that is subsequently refunded or reversed, Heista may deduct the corresponding commission from future payments or seek repayment where appropriate.
Only the commission attributable to the affected transaction will be adjusted.
8. Using Heista in Creative Work and Education
Partners are encouraged to introduce Heista through their existing creative work, courses, workshops, tutorials and content.
The programme does not require partners to deliver education through Heista or operate their courses on the platform.
Heista and the partner may agree on a suitable approach to demonstrations, content, introductions or other promotional activity.
Partners remain responsible for their own educational programmes, creative services, content and customer relationships.
Unless separately agreed, participation does not establish an employment relationship, joint venture or legal partnership.
10. Partner Responsibilities
Creative Partners agree to represent Heista accurately and responsibly.
Partners must not:
- Make false or misleading claims about Heista’s capabilities, pricing or results.
- Promise guaranteed creative, financial or professional outcomes.
- Generate fraudulent referrals or artificial purchases.
- Impersonate Heista or misrepresent their authority to act on its behalf.
- Engage in unsolicited bulk messaging or deceptive promotional practices.
- Bid on Heista’s trademarks in paid advertising without written approval.
Partners must comply with applicable advertising, consumer protection, privacy and disclosure requirements when promoting Heista.
Partners are free to develop their own creative content and teaching materials, provided they comply with these terms.
11. Programme Changes
Heista may update the Creative Partners Programme, including commission rates, benefits, eligibility requirements and programme features.
Material changes will be communicated to affected partners in advance.
Changes to commission rates will apply to new referrals made after the stated effective date, unless otherwise agreed.
Existing qualifying referrals will retain their agreed commission rates and remaining eligibility periods, subject to these terms, applicable law and termination for material breach or fraud.
Heista may introduce additional partner benefits or promotional incentives at its discretion.
12. Ending Participation
Partners may leave the programme by contacting Heista.
Heista may suspend or terminate participation for fraud, misuse, material breach of these terms or conduct that creates a material legal or reputational risk.
Heista may also discontinue a partner relationship for legitimate business reasons with reasonable notice.
Where participation ends without partner misconduct, valid commissions from qualifying referrals made before termination will continue for their remaining eligibility periods, unless otherwise agreed.
Commissions already earned remain payable, subject to refunds, chargebacks and other valid adjustments.
Complimentary platform access and other programme benefits may end when participation ends.
13. Taxes
Creative Partners are responsible for reporting and paying taxes applicable to the commissions they receive.
Heista may request relevant tax or business registration information where required by law or its payment providers.
Applicable withholding obligations, if any, will be handled in accordance with relevant law.
14. Independent Relationship
Creative Partners operate independently of Heista.
Nothing in these terms creates an employment relationship, agency relationship, franchise, joint venture or legal partnership.
Partners are responsible for their own businesses, content, services and operating expenses.
Neither party may enter into obligations on behalf of the other without express written authorisation.
15. General Terms
- Participation in the Creative Partners Programme is also subject to Heista’s Terms of Service and applicable platform policies.
Heista does not guarantee any minimum referral volume, commission earnings or commercial outcome.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, each party is responsible for losses arising from its own breach of these terms. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
These terms are governed by the laws of South Australia, Australia, subject to applicable mandatory laws.
