This leverages Narrative Transportation—by placing the viewer “about a year ago” inside the speaker’s lived moment (“I was dealing with…”), attention shifts from claims to story-following. It also uses Self-Disclosure Credibility: the concrete personal problem (“hair shedding”) makes the upcoming recommendation feel grounded in experience, reducing skepticism. Finally, it creates Loss-Recovery Framing—hair shedding is an ongoing threat, so “so I decided…” sets up relief-seeking motivation that keeps viewers watching for what solved it. Story Start hook deep-dive

Beat 2 (0:00-0:04) — Story Start: It starts a personal origin story: “About a year ago, I was dealing with a lot of hair shedding, so I decided to start a hair scalp serum.” This frames the rest of the video as a cause→action→result journey, anchored in a specific time and symptom.

Beat 3 (0:04-0:07) — Relatability Setup: The speaker grounds the claim in personal experience: “I feel like my hair has completely transformed.” That phrasing turns the message into an emotional, firsthand reaction to starting the product/tool (“since starting using this”), rather than a detached statement.

Beat 4 (0:07-0:12) — Cost/Benefit Reframe: It reduces perceived downside while selling daily use: “you can use this every single day” because “there’s no oils in it, so it doesn’t make your hair oily at all.” The beat frames the product as safe/low-cost for routine use, turning a possible objection (oiliness) into a reassurance.

Beat 5 (0:12-0:16) — Feature Cascade: The beat rapidly stacks product “body parts” as proof: “amazing vitamins and peptides for your hair.” It’s immediately paired with an outcome teaser—“It makes your…”—so the viewer is mentally caching a value-packed ingredient-to-result claim.

Beat 6 (0:16-0:21) — Confusion → Clarity: The transcript cuts off mid-sentence while the implied payoff suggests the creator is about to explain how to think about the situation more clearly. Structurally, this beat functions like a clarification move: the viewer is being guided from uncertainty toward a specific explanation, but the exact wording is missing due to the cut-off.
